Out of control. The puppies actually barked at it, like it was a menacing intruder. They didn't know what to make of it. Tried to take a bite, but didn't have the guts to chomp down. I've never seen anything like it.
Ha! I confess we didn't. We should have. We can't resist feeding these things to the chickens, and feeling a sense of satisfaction that we are eating our critters through the eggs. Every time we find one it's a struggle. Let it become a butterfly or feed it to the chickens? We finally decided to leave one of our many noni tree caterpillars to become a butterfly. Also one of those beautiful ones from the the other bush that's infested. Next big one we see, it goes in a jar.
ooh, ooh, ooooh - what kind of moth or butterfly might that make??!! :) Did you put it in a jar to find out??
